Big Celebrations for Core at the First Women in Tech Awards
The Women in Tech Awards took place for the first time on Friday 8th April in Belfast. This event aims to recognise and celebrate women who innovate, challenge and embrace technology showing inspirational individuals who have achieved great success within the sector.
These awards are an important part of promoting gender equality across the tech industry in Northern Ireland by recognising and highlighting the achievements of women within this field. So, we were delighted to be amongst such an amazing group of finalists at this year’s awards and could not be prouder of our CEO and founder, Patricia O’Hagan MBE, for taking home the award for Outstanding Woman in Tech. We also extend our congratulations to our Product Delivery Manager, Roisin Gilmartin, who was a finalist in the Tech Team of the Year category.

For over 20 years, Core Systems has been providing interactive technology solutions for offenders in prison and on probation, helping them through their rehabilitation journey so that they can successfully re-enter society. The hard work and dedication put into this project are reflected in the team here at Core, but none of this would be possible without the leadership and passion of our CEO.
Having two team members recognised for their hard work is huge for us, and we are incredibly honoured. Core Systems would also like to share our congratulations for the other winners of the night. It was great to be in the presence of so many innovative companies, and we wish you all the best in your future endeavours.
